Ended the year with a bang
Dad's been getting busy down there even though I've not been much help lately. Sorry Dad and thanks for continuing to put in all the hours on this thing. It means a lot to me.
Split wish bones for the rear radius rods
milling rear for welding in the jag bushings
All tacked in
F-100 steering box mounded to frame
new flaming river steering column
found this little hunk of metal floating around inside the column that was making the tilt action a little funky
We'll have to investigate the issue more to see what's broken
and she's back down on the ground
Not the rear tires or wheels we'll be using but good for a mockup at least
Next up is the master cylinder and pedal assembly I think

The dash is...the front shocks are in...and subfloors going in again
When I got to dad's on Sunday he'd already got the dash in...love it!
Gonna take some work to get it all smoothed out though
Today he started getting the floors in again
Got the calipers off the rear end
New water pump
He used the f-100 shock mounts but instead of putting them on the frame corners we bolted them to the suicide perch after heating them and bending them outboard. Different!
Going to have to move things around a bit to get our fan in there

57 Olsdmobile Dash Progress
I stopped by dads over lunch today to see how things were going. He'd got the olds dash completely blown apart, media blasted and cut down to fit in the coupe. It's gonna be kool!
DAD GETTING DOWN TO BUSINESS WITH THE DOTCO
BLASTED AND CUT DOWN
